Holiday tip 1: Cycling along the Moselle

Perhaps the best way to explore the various places on the Moselle is by bike.

Of course, you can store your bikes safely in our free bicycle garage. Here you will also find the right charging station for your e-bike batteries.

Holiday tip 2: Hiking on the Moselsteig Trail

For hiking enthusiasts, the trail starts right behind our hotel. The breathtaking Moselsteig Trail awaits here. Ürzig lies exactly between stages 11 and 12. You can find more information directly here.

Those looking for a little more action can hike along the “Ürziger Würzgarten / Erdener Prälat & Treppchen” via ferrata. There you can experience what makes the Middle Moselle so special on the rocky slate slopes. The terroir found here produces world-class Rieslings.

Holiday tip 3: Wine tasting with a Moselle winegrower

Wine connoisseurs know that this is a true Riesling Mecca! In addition to Riesling, grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are also cultivated on the Moselle. Of course, you shouldn’t miss out on tasting the wine at one of the local wineries right where it is produced when you are on a trip to the Moselle. A must-do for every holiday on the Moselle. The Mediterranean climate of the Moselle valley makes our region a water sports paradise for holidaymakers in summer! Relax on the banks of the Moselle right in front of our hotel or treat yourself to a leisurely boat trip. Stand-up paddling is also very popular! You can hire the right boards directly from us.

Discover the Moselle towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach or follow in the footsteps of the Romans in Trier. Looking for some relaxation and wellness after a long day on holiday? Visit the Moselle thermal spas in Traben-Trarbach and Bad Bertrich.
